Aranza Aranda

I have loved the outdoors and have been interested in studying science ever since I was young. My ultimate goal is to become a fieldwork biologist/wildlife ecologist. I am committed to learn about ways we can lessen our human impact on the environment while protecting vulnerable species.

2023-2025

B.S. Ecology, Evolution, & Conservation Biology
San Francisco State University

Gained intertidal fieldwork experience through Dr. Sarah Cohen's marine ecology course. Undergraduate research experience was based on a designed experiment on juvenile Henricia sea stars' light preference. Click here to view. Over the course of summer 24', I assisted on a fellow peer's undergraduate research on Leptasteria sea stars' phenoplasticty in extreme temperatures.
